Memorial Day was a special weekend for both of us - it was when we first met one year ago. We took a boat ride around Newport Harbor while watching the sunset and it was very relaxing. Saturday Tyler took me to one of my favorite restaurants called the Coliseum. It was a very beautiful weekend and we had a great time together.

Just last weekend I spent some time with someone very special to me and celebrated his birthday. We went to Disneyland the day before his big day and went on our favorite ride - The ToWeR of TERROR! You'll need: Etching cream (I used Armour etch which you can find one from a craft store), retractable knife, contact or adhesive paper, and glass.

Here are the four easy steps on how to etch glass:

1. Trace out any designs on clear contact paper or print it out on adhesive paper.

2. Cut out the designs out with a retractable knife.

3. Stick them on the glass.

4. Put a thick amount of etching cream over it and let it sit for 5 minutes (if using Armour Etch). Then you wash it off with hot water all the way and you're done!

I loved it! I wanted to make more!

The other day I went to the {Coliseum} for lunch and then to {Mastro's} for dinner for my boss' birthday all on the same day! The food was amazing! I really recommend either of those places if you are ever in OC. Then Saturday I went dancing with my boyfriend at a fundraising dinner banquet and it was the perfect ending to the week. What did you do!? I would love some ideas!

Valentine's Day is coming soon and I made some fun small treat boxes with stripes! They are available on {Etsy} if you want to print one out at home to make for your Valentine. Here are the 5 easy steps:

Print as many as you want from your printer and make sure you print it on cardstock.

Cut it out.

Score the cardstock along each thin line and fold, making a crisp folded edge.

Glue the top tab and stick it to the bottom inside part.

Once glued together pick whatever side to glue and close up the bottom part of the box. Fill with scrumptious treats for your Valentine, fold down the lid and tie with a bow to prevent peeking!

One of my goals for 2011 was to stay healthy and I go to yoga almost everyday. Now I feel like its about time that I need to get some new yoga clothes for the new year. I really love going to the { Lululemon } store. They have so many amazing yoga stuff.

Stuff I take with me to yoga:

1. {water filter bottle} - its always good to drink clean water.
2. {yoga mat} - you can find good deals from target!
3. {skidless towel} - its good to have a towel that won't slide off the mat.
4. {muscle milk} - after class I make sure I drink a good protein shake
to get through the day.

Do you do yoga?!

ps. If you're thinking about going to a good yoga studio -
I recommend {Corepower} and I love it!

Remember the flower {project} I did a few weeks ago when I painted the pot and planted the bulbs? Well my Paperwhite Ziva finally came out! I just love the smell of these flowers!
